photographic installation, space divided by a partition wall,
two black and white transparencies in lightboxes, both 150 × 202 cm

The viewer enters a darkened room and encounters a large, dimly lit lightbox depicting a reflection on the surface of a pond. A black bird sits on the edge of the pond. Upon entering the next room the viewer finds an image of the same pond, this time photographed from a slightly different angle, so that the park-esque reflection has been replaced by a modernist apartment block. The bird sits in the same position as if time has stood still while the viewer has moved between the rooms.
